This thoughtfully formulated foraging mix is designed to support the real nutritional and behavioral needs of small parrots. Made with high-quality, whole ingredients, to provide a more complete amino acid profile and help maintain healthy muscles, organs, and feather condition without relying on artificial colors, fillers, or synthetic supplements.
A diverse blend of seeds, grains, pseudocereals, and legumes. Each ingredient is chosen to offer intentional variety in size, texture, shape, and flavor, encouraging longer, more natural foraging behavior, just like the complexity birds experience when foraging in the wild. The result is a smarter seed mix that delivers both better nutrition and richer daily enrichment, helping small parrots thrive rather than just get by.
Pure, simple, and science-informed, the way nature intended.
- Thoughtfully balanced mix supporting complete protein and healthy metabolism
- Encourages longer foraging behaviors with diverse textures, shapes, and flavors
- Made with whole, all-natural ingredients, no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives
Nutritional Benefits for Your Feathered Companion:
Hemp Seeds - Beyond their omega-3 contribution, hemp seeds provide all essential amino acids in favorable ratios and are particularly digestible for small parrots. They also add interesting textural variety to the foraging experience.
Freeze-Dried Peas - Legumes are naturally higher in lysine than most grains, making this an important addition for balancing the amino acid profile. The freeze-drying process preserves nutrients while creating an interesting texture for foraging.
Chia Seeds - These tiny seeds pack a protein punch and are particularly rich in omega-3 fatty acids, supporting healthy skin, feathers, and reducing inflammation. They also contribute to the overall amino acid balance with good levels of methionine.
Flaxseed - An excellent source of omega-3s and protein, flaxseed helps round out the amino acid profile while providing essential fatty acids necessary for healthy organ and skin function
